Tis morning, mummy found that my body was unusually hot when she was carrying mi.. She quickly took my temperature and to her horror, it showed 39.6 deg.. She quickly rang daddy up and told him to rush home immediately to take mi to the doctor.. Mummy oso called the clinic to inform them that we are coming..
Actually i was already alittle cranky last nite waking up in between the night, can't sleep well and kept crying.. Even tis morning, i was also cranky.. maybe symptoms tat i m falling ill ? Daddy knew tat mummy is tired so he specially arranged to knock off early to return home to help mummy out abit..
Lucky mummy had finished cooking the porridge for mi.. She quickly packed my lunch and some other stuff and went downstairs to wait for daddy..
When we reached the clinic, the nurse took my temperature and it was 39.3 deg.. Then we sat down and wait for our turn. While waiting, mummy called Po Po to inform her. Lucky Po Po had already reached Compasspoint, so we will pick Po Po up after seeing the doctor..
As it was near closing time, there wasn't many pple so we waited for abt 20min.. I was still alright until the doctor opened my mouth with a wooden stick to check for throat infection.. I din like it at all and cried loudly.. I din stop crying until we left the clinic.. Mummy had a difficult time trying to understand from the nurse on the instruction on taking the medicine and my crying made it worse..
We went to fetch Po Po before heading home.. Once we reached home, Po Po quickly fed mi the medicine first and then fed mi porridge as we had passed my mealtime.. After that, i dozed off almost immediately..
For the rest of the day, my fever went up & down.. Po Po did sponge mi, mummy put the fever pad on my forehead, hoping the fever will subside..
