Erlene can sit by her own

Mummy: Erlene has been struggling to sit on her own from lying position for the past 1-2 weeks but one of her legs always got stuck in the process and she does not know how to get it out..

Finally, on wed nite while hb was playing with her, he saw her getting up & sit on her own !! no more "leg-got-stuck" situation... Yippee !! i am soooo happy.... her action gets swifter yesterday as i see her sitting up in seconds.... :D

so now mummy is waiting to see u stand ok... Jia you, my princess !!! =)

Erlene waves bye bye

mummy: today erlene waves bye bye when prompted.. it was so cute.. the way she waves is like "zao cai mao", so different from her kor kor's version which is waving his hand from left to right.. another milestone for my princess.. :D

Erlene's 1st tooth is out !!

Mummy: yeah... finally !! i was thrilled when my mum called me at work to inform me.. i know that each individual child has different development "speed" but it was a long 9-month (almost.. lol) wait for me.. hee.. hope more teeth will come out soon so she dun look bo gey at her 1st bday party.. =P

japanese curry for ervin..

mummy: was quite troubled wif ervin's poor appetite.. initially we thought it was due to him sick of eating soft food (porridge n mee sua) which he has been taking for quite a long period.. but when we intro rice, he does not seems keen too, eating only a few mouthful each time.. had brought him to tui na, din seems to help much.. maybe need to go for more sessions? he seems to prefer noodles as he will eat more as compared to rice.. has been cracking my head thinking of wat to feed him.. tonite, i decided to let him try some japanese chicken curry rice wif dong gua soup & he almost finished it !! feel so happy.. :D

Ervin's speech development

Mummy: ervin could say the following.. =)

mother = ma ma / ma mi / mi mi
my mum = po po
mil = mah (tats y i wan him to call me "mi mi" =P )
fil = ye ye
erlene = mei mei (one of his earliest word beside pa pa & ma ma)
elder bro = kor kor
elder sis = jie jie
younger bro = da di (instead of di di)
my sisters = ah yi
uncle = uncle
auntie = ana (my helper's name.. told him many times not all auntie are by the name of ana..)
umbrella = xx la la

Last nite, i was training him to say "mi mi, nite nite" and he said it ONCE ... =D

Ervin's development

Mummy: I read somewhere that kids pick up things v fast and absorb like a sponge at the peak age between 2-7 yrs old.. this is really true.. ervin has had about 4 lessons at tumble tots gym classes, i realised that he can be quite shy during the class & sometime even refused to participate in sing along sessions. For eg, we will do some actions like clapping hands, touch the body parts while we sing and i will usually help/guide ervin through but he will refuse to do it still.. :-S

On one of the evening after i returned to work, my mum told me that during the day, ervin went up to her and demonstrate some of the actions which he had learnt during the lessons. At first, my mum din know wat is it all about until ervin showed it to me & i explained to my mum that he is trying to show my mum what was taught during his class. I was so happy as i realised that actually he COULD do it, just that he doesn't want to do it in class.. Shy ??? hmm..

I feel that it is so beneficial for him to attend gym classes/playgroup/lessons as it helps him to mix with peers & learnt new things.. Feel alittle regret that i couldn't let him start as early as i wan due to me expecting erlene, hope its not too late to catch up.. =)

New developments...

A couple new developments...

1. I can climb up the 1-step platform at mummy's & daddy's bedroom and climb down by myself. And my actions get more swiftly as days passed.. Mummy is amazed becos just a couple weeks ago, i still do not know how to do that.. Mummy is grateful to daddy as it was daddy who trained me..
**Credits go to daddy.. yeah..**

2. I learnt how to turn on/off the power switch, be it the kitchen lights, fans, etc.. Erhh.. actually not quite a good development as i m not supposed to play with these power points at all.. Po po blame it on the design by HDB for new flats, making the power points so low that children can reach so easily.. Initially i only know how to switch it ON as it is a sliding down action (easier) but I do not know how to switch it OFF (sliding up action-more difficult). But yesterday when mummy returned from work and saw one of the hall fan was OFF, she asked po po and po po replied "Your son OFF the fan by switching OFF the power point".. hehe.. Notti me right.. :=P

Playing with magnet

I have always enjoyed playing with the magnets on the fridge.. Most of the time i like to swipe the magnets off the fridge and see them drop on the floor.. This evening i tried to put the magnet back on the fridge after picking them up from the floor.. And I DID it !!

I can sit on my own !

This afternoon, i surprised 婆婆 by sitting up on my own.. 婆婆 quickly call mummy to tell her this good news.. Mummy is very happy to hear tat and hope that I can soon learn how to stand on my own and finally learn to walk and run.. hehe..

Calling for Pa Pa ?

Tis few days, i have been calling "Pa Pa" alot.. Mummy and Ah Ma are very jealous of daddy since he is the first person I called...

I started to call "papa" early tis week and the frequency increased over the next few days where I can called "papa" non-stop for few minutes.. Mummy and ah ma were happy and jealous at the same time, happy that i may seem to talk early but jealous that I called papa but never called them... hehe.. Wait patiently, Mummy & Ah Ma, sooner or later, I will also call u both.. Ok.. *o*

I can hold my MILK bottle

Ah ma told mummy that I can now hold my milk bottle (which is longer and heavier than my water bottle)... Of cos, I still need more practice.. See, i can hold it quite well, rite.. hehe :-P Tis is taken during my night feed....

First time eating apple

Today ah ma feed me some apple and I finished almost half of the apple.. Actually tis is not my first attempt eating apple, ah ma had tried to fed me before but I only ate 1 spoonful, maybe tat time the apple is abit sour...

Enfapro Stage 2

Mummy had slowly started to switch me to Enfapro Stage 2.. Actually she planned to switch during CNY time frame but as I was not well, doctor had advised not to switch yet..

So mummy only let me start on Stage 2 starting last week only..

My 1st tooth

today ah ma found tat my 1st tooth has grown out while she showered for me.. she quickly called mummy to inform her.. Mummy is veri happy.. :-P
