Thinking back, Ervin was breastfed for less than 1 month and was on only 10% EMB and 90% FM due to a few reasons (unable to latch him on as he is the impatient type and i was lazy in pumping)..
When i was breastfeeding Erlene during my hospital stay, i was surprised i could do it on my own w/out the help of the nurses. That was the moment when i could really feel the bonding feeling with my baby which i did not experienced with Ervin as I totally could not latch him on without the help of the nurses.. I must say Erlene's patience help me in latching her on successfully.. thanks, my darling princess..
When i returned home after the hospital stay, i did tried to latch her on as many times as possible to stimulate supply. But somehow the latching get lesser & lesser until i decided to just express it out.. Life has been very busy for me now that I have 2 kids plus the fact that Ervin is still cranky and just want my attention, it really make me tired physically & mentally. This greatly affected my pumping routine. Of cos my laziness oso play a part..
I am currently pumping 4 times a day and hope that i can maintain this routine when i return to work.. Or at least able to breastfeed erlene throughout the whole 3-mth ML..
These are the spare EBM which i stored in the freezer.. May not be alot to some, but it's a great achievement for me.. I dun even hv a spare pack of EMB for Ervin during his time!!
