Mummy's nite out (auntie cheryl's bday)

Mummy meet up with auntie cheryl n auntie dor tonite to celebrate auntie cheryl's birthday.. the mummies had buffet dinner @ Ellenborough at the Merchant Court hotel..

Mummy: ervin could say the following.. =)

erlene = mei mei (one of his earliest word beside pa pa & ma ma)

auntie = ana (my helper's name.. told him many times not all auntie are by the name of ana..)

Last nite, i was training him to say "mi mi, nite nite" and he said it ONCE ... =D

Mummy: my mum decided to let erlene wear the pretty 2 pc sets more often instead of the usual romper.. hee.. look at my pretty erlene.. lol

Ervin had Croup... =(

Mummy: Haizzz.. it is really v sad to see the kids fall sick one after another.. Was feeling happy that erlene has recovered only to be sad again cos ervin fell sick last Friday night (or i should say Sat early morning)..
Hb and I went to attend the wedding dinner of my colleague's daughter.. When i returned home, ervin was still okay.. But shortly after hb's shower, ervin cried and vomitted when hb carried him. I quickly took his temperature & realised he was running a high fever.. He was also wheezing loudly.. Learnt my lesson well with Erlene's case last sat so i did not hesitate to ask hb to get dressed and we set off to KKH..

Again, we were directed to the RED door immediately, ervin was given a round of neubiliser and panadol for his fever.. At first we thought he had bronchiolitis like erlene but doctor said he was having Croup, which is part of Cold.. It caused the airways to be narrow which resulted in a "barking" sound.. After 2 hours of observation, he seems ok & we could go home.

However, on early sat morning i heard him started to wheeze again.. but it stopped after a while.. So we kept feeding him medicine on time.. It seems to work and ervin was OK by sun evening..

Mummy: although lately i am experiencing a tough time with my kids falling sick one after another, i felt alittle relieved as i see things getting abit better.. MM has started talking to MH, although her tone is like "buay gam guan".. but it's a good start anyway.. hope things will get better & better each day.. =)

Mummy: Lately, ervin LOVES to play with the boxes of pampers.. haizz.. He even muster strength to carry the boxes around.. :-S

Twin Tower ??

Erlene had Bronchiolities again. =(

Mummy: Sigh.. Erlene had brochiolitis again (2nd time).. Her cough started on Friday and was not that serious yet.. On Sat morning, i brought her to the GP and she was given 1 round of neubiliser & some medicine.. We still went to mil hse for dinner as usual.. but i could hear her wheezing and we brought her to another GP tat evening for 2nd round of neubiliser.. Things did not improved and poor erlene could not sleep well on Sat night.. She kept waking up every hour & cried due to cough & bad wheezing.. (*Shd hv brought her to KKH on the spot)..

Then on sun morning, we brought her back to the GP again, she was given 3rd round of neubiliser. At around 1pm, we finally brought her to KKH when we still hear her wheezing quite badly.. We were directed to the RED door immediately where she was given a round of neubiliser (her 4th round).. After 2 hours of observation, the doctor decided to admit her due to the wheezing which still exist.. During the stay, erlene recovered quickly with the regular 4 hourly neubiliser treatment.. She was discharged on Mon evening after her lungs are clear & wheezing was gone..

Mummy: Ordered the LeapPad Brightlings Exploration Station for the kids.. It is retailing at about S$149 locally, bought it at about half price from the overseas sprees.. lol.. =)

Also got some teether toys for erlene too..

Mummy: It was a hot & humid evening after shower of rain.. actually dun feel like going out at all.. but afterall, it is a once in a year festival, so we still bring Ervin out to the sculpture park to carry the lanterns.. din bring erlene along as she was sleeping already..

Ervin dun seems to be v interested in his doraemon lantern..

都是Peanut butter 惹的祸...

Mummy: haiz.. still can smell the "bomb".. thot the "atmosphere" had changed to alittle better on wed night..

ervin was a little cranky when he woke up this morning.. crying & rejected his favorite nestle cereal + milk.. he oso rejected bread wif kaya (his 2nd love).. he kept pointing to the peanut butter & cried louder when i refused to give it to him.. i finally relented & gave in to him.. then he happily walk around the house carrying the bottle of peanut butter.. :-S

MM jumped the gun & said in a rather harse tone "your (MH) ah, getting from bad to worse, anything oso give him play. see, peanut butter oso give, ......."
i quickly explained it was ME who gave ervin the peanut butter, and the reason y i gave is becos i dun wan erlene to be disturbed by kor kor's crying.. But MM still look displeased.. sigh...

Mummy: ordered these sweeeeet & lovely Jamie Rae headbands from the overseas spree for erlene.. hb went to collect tis morning.. =)

Ervin riding motorbike, finally....

Mummy: Finally ervin is not afraid of the battery-operated motorbike which my mum got for his 2nd birthday.. Before that he was so afraid of it and would not get near or touch or play with this motorbike. But as days passed, i guessed he sort of overcome the fear and willing to give a try riding on it.. his 1st attempt riding on it was not bad, of cos assisted by me or hb. else sure "accident" liao.. haha.. oh my, this motorbike is really powerful, i had to used up all my strength trying to hold it when ervin was going to knock onto the wall or something.. good exercise for me though.. lol

Mummy: Ervin really loves to do cleaning.. we caught him in cleaning action again yesterday.. This time, he is cleaning the kitchen floor with the Magiclean.. he must have inherit the "cleanliness" personality from his daddy.. keke..

Feb 08 Babies & Mummies gathering @ Marche

Mummy: Sigh.. did turn out as well as i thought it would be.. The journey to Harbourfront was still okay.. 1st half hour at Marche was also still okay.. But as the crowd get bigger & bigger, plus all the talking & laughing, erlene started to cry.. we tried carrying her to stand just outside of the restaurant oso dun help.. she will just cried & cried.. 1st time see Erlene cried so much and so badly..

To make thing worse, Ervin oso started to cry at about the same time as mei mei.. and cried non-stop too.. keep wanting me to carry, refused to walk on his own, also refused to return to the restaurant. Keep signal to me that he wanted to go out whenever i walked near the restaurant.. =(

finally, i can't stand it anymore and decided to leave. while packing our stuff, ervin was still crying & insisted that i carry him.. haizz.. ana & i still hv not taken our lunch leh.. i juz ordered a glass of apple juice & hv not finished yet, no able to finish the drink cos ervin keep pushing the glass away.. =(

once outside the restaurant, erlene stopped crying and in fact was smiling & playing happily with ana.. :-S ervin's crying oso reduced alot but he still insisted to be carried most of the time.. in the end, i went to packet 3 packs of char siew rice for lunch.. and we only got to eat our lunch at 3pm.. =(

really scare to bring them out now.. only hope the kids will "perform" better the next time..
